The artist is identified in the publishing data as Taguchi Shosen, but we haven't deciphered the signature cartouche.
Asahina Yoshihide was the son of Wada Yoshimori and fought with his father in a rebellion against the Hojo around 1213, and was known for his feats of great strength. |
