This illustrates the story of the young woman, Kiyohime, who grew infatuated with a monk from the Dojo Temple. She followed him to the temple, where he hid under a giant bell. As she had turned into a serpent, she coiled herself around the bell with such passion and heat that the bell melted, killing both the monk and herself.
