In this famous pose, Narukami is enraged at being deceived by Princess Taema. She seduced him in order to free the dragon god of rain whom he had imprisoned in a pond. Waking from a drunken stupor, Narukami feels the rain and realizes he's been tricked. Narukami is one of the Juhachiban (18 Plays) of the Ichikawa family of actors. Illustrated in Heroes and Ghosts #174.
