Excellent color and condition, centerfolds
The nue was a mythical beast with the head of a monkey,the claws of a tiger,the back of a badger,and a snake for a tail. This creature was thought to be the source of a grave illness of Emperor Konoe as it had been seen on the roof of the Palace.
Very rare design, extremely early for Kunisada. |
